Thought I'd update this thread with another "fuck you Libero!" post. The whole idea that the design needs to be generated before you can even open synthesis or simulation is fucking stupid. The synthesizer or simulation can tell me that there are syntax or other errors so just fucking open the design already.

 

Tempo libero molto poco dormivo anche tipo 4-5 ore a notte. Sono andato in burnout ma alla fine mi sono laureato (un po' fuori corso). Se tornassi indietro farei una cosa simile perché obbligato (la mia famiglia è povera e non poteva mantenermi oltre il diploma) ma sicuramente eviterei tanti errori. Solo che col senno di poi siamo tutti bravi.

 

Tl;dr Libero v12.5 I/O Buffer insertion setting seems to be causing issues with my design but hasn't been an issue for the past several months EDIT: Issue has been fixed and was due to a breaking change in the design causing the port to be optimized away.

Cinderace and Libero...why? I'm just a casual Pokémon player. Going through Scarlet and decided to pull a Scorbunny from Shield. It has Libero and it seems they have butchered the technique. I understand it was "overpowered" but now when I try and use swords dance set he turns to normal type and doesn't get stab on his moves?

 

Libero is much slower and much more buggy than Vivado. Don't be surprised if it crashes. If you use their schematic editor it will select whatever version is available for this core; now you're stuck with this core version forever unless you manually replace it.

 

The one difference because of a technicality from their typing is that Cinderace can use fire moves freely without activating Libero since it?s already pure fire to begin with. Greninja and Meowscarada are both dual types. Technically the same can be said about Keckleon and normal moves but it?s not in SV and nobody uses that Pokémon anyways.

 

The libero also seems to get man marked by one of the opposition's strikers so he infrequently receives passes from the other two central defenders and doesn't do much to progress the ball.
