Opinion on Grizzly tools. Hey everyone. My dad bought me a grizzly band saw for fathers day. It's the G0555LX 14". I used it for about an hour and it has broken in 2 spots (wheel bearing and to adjustment screws). They are sending me the parts but I wonder if I should return it for the money and get a different brand.

 

I am so disappointed in Grizzly after having heard all about this terrific brand it?s quality and customer service. I was preparing to purchase many other larger tools and can?t possibly consider giving them another penny of business.

 

Grizzly is cheaper and the same quality as Jet the parts are probably manufactured in the same place. Hammer is one of the distributors of the felder group they?re machines are extremely high quality and have helical cutter heads already installed.

 

Jet Grizzly Or Others? Looking for a solid company that makes reliable tools but almost more important than that a variety of tools. Grizzly checks every box I have in terms of a tool or piece of equipment I want now or might want one day. Jet seems more limited but they've been around longer which is its own checkmark in its favor.

 

What is everyone?s experience with Grizzly tools? I purchased a Grizzly jointer and a Grizzly dust collector in the last couple of months. They are my first Grizzly purchases. They seem very well built but I have had problems with the dust collector tripping a breaker.

 

I like their tools and I like their parts availability a lot. You can buy a lot of tools and grizzly can sell you parts for them since they are all clones of each other. I would implore you to not buy a big new expensive table saw and not consider saw stop. They are pricey but the safety factors are tremendous.

 

How are grizzly tools? I just got my cabinetmaking ticket and I'm striking out in my own cause to hell with shop labour. Jobs are going to be pretty small scale for now but I need a tablesaw and a planer. Seen ads for those grizzly tools on here and I was wondering where they land in terms of quality.

 

Been looking at grizzly which seems to have a good bang for the buck in this area. Does anyone have any general thoughts/experience with Grizzly? Any other recommendations would be great but trying to keep costs as reasonable as possible given the large investment of these tools.
