Re: Stopwatch time frustrations The fix is usually the Custom Format route: right-click the cells > Format Cells > Custom then type in mm:ss.000. That usually stops the auto-conversion dead in its tracks. i would recommend to use thekronometre.com. It handles the millisecond precision so you don't have to wrestle with cell formatting.

Adding a stopwatch with lap times using a macro Hi there I want to create a stopwatch with the ability to record lap (interval) times in an excel worksheet. I have tried numerous codes but none seem to work?the one which seems most logical to me is included in the attached document.

 

Use the timer or stopwatch Time events with the stopwatch or set a countdown timer with the Timer app on your tracker. You can run the stopwatch and countdown timer at the same time. If always-on display is on the screen continues to display the stopwatch or countdown timer until it ends or you exit the app.

I even set it up so that you could do a SaveAs -> .xla file so you can use it as an Excel Add in and it will be available in all of your workbooks if you want. Here's the code for the actual Stopwatch/Timer userform.
