If I open the video in a new tab the download button will appear. The first couple of times I just tried to open the video in the same tab the download button didn't show up. This was using the same video for both attempts. If I reload the page then it will select the correct video instead of downloading the previous video. Every time I try to log into youtube I am getting redirected to this page with NO help. Tried everything that this god forbidden page says and still cant login in. Wrote to google support numerous times Im sure you know how that went. Again no help at all. I should also mention that I never broke any of the youtube/google guidelines.

 

Like an hour ago my cousin tried to download an audio from youtube in my pc using yt1s (dot)com after seeing this i searched in reddit about it it seems to be a page that redirects to malicious sites to download adware luckily i have an adblock and a pop-up blocker in firefox and it only downloaded the mp3 file of the wich i scanned with kaspersky and found zero threats apparently the ...

R/youtubers Current search is within r/youtubers Remove r/youtubers filter and expand search to all of Reddit

 

As far as I know they are safe. If you click on some sketchy ad or a fake download button good luck but if you do it right have your adblocker up and all you're good to go. That said maybe you could download some program to do that from your desktop yt-dlp for YouTube and idk about other sites

 

So. My story. I first used yt1s for YT videos then stopped since I stopped making them for a while. Found out it was unsafe and "malicious code highly probable". Then I used mp4 -youtu.be. My computer was giving me warnings everytime I tried to download something. It said "Do you want to protect your computer?" I accidentally clicked no and it said "You have to protect your computer!" like ...

 

YT1S shut down. Use YT5S instead if not YouTube-DL!

 

All of them that I've tried give me a virus.if you know a virus-free YouTube to mp4 site out there please link it in the comments below. Preferably in HD-1080 but if it isn't that's definitely okay too! It just needs to be good audio quality yet I need to be able to upload it to YouTube. thank you!

 

Jdownloader2 works on windows linux mac in a docker. will let you download both the video and also just audio if you want just that. Can do a TON more regarding downloads so might be overkill but it's really good. If you have an android phone you can also use Newpipe. No idea what iphone has though. Reply reply wgardenhire ?
