The weather app has indicated 24/7 thunderstorms. It is WAY off. I used to switch between the apple app & Yahoo weather. Now I only use Yahoo. Apple?s weather app is completely useless right now. Everything else is bad too. In the music app if I want to change the randomization it takes forever for it to bring up the new playlist order.

 

Weather Underground has by far the best data and accuracy in part because it has a network of tens of thousands of personal weather stations (PWS). This is where the micro-climate thing comes in. Wunderground is the only app where you can really see the difference between here and 3 miles from here.

 

MS Weather is only like 2-3 years old pretty much started with Win10 as part of that scroll-over tab on the lower left. They really don't have as much data to get their version of a MOS forecast going.

 

Best weather source? (NOAA AccuWeather OpenWeather)? My weather app allows me to choose the source that it pulls weather info from. I?ve noticed there are significant differences in temp precipitation etc?between sources and between my thermometer here at the house. Which have you found to be the most reliable?

The Hourly Weather Forecast graphs out temp/dewpoint wind rain/snow etc. which is really handy if you wanna get a quick idea of what to expect at a given time. The Forecast Discussion can be a bit technical for beginners but it's usually pretty in-depth and can help you learn why things are happening instead of just what is happening.

 

Quick question After you use the "env variable" command does weather still rotate randomly after X amount of time passes using the command weather?

If you're playing ATM 9 (or between 7 and 9) Occultism and EvilCraft have methods of controlling the weather. Occultism has Dry Rainy Thunderstorm and even Time so Day or Night. Evilcraft with the Environmental Accumulator (your own or a charged one out about) can make a "potion" that you throw and it become the weather you want. Of the 2 Occultisms is easier to do.
