I did the Amboss 200 a few days before and it felt pretty similar to my step 2 form but I know some people might have experienced something different on their step 2 form. I thought it was a good high yield final review.

 

I like AMBOSS much more as I think their system is more intuitive easy to review and forces you to think again after missing the question. AMBOSS recently published a paper stating that applicants using their service score ~10 pts better on Step 2 overall however I would take this with a grain of salt at this point.

 

My AMBOSS sample size is much smaller less than 1k questions but felt the questions were clearer and proper explanations and was just a much better learning tool.

 

Started Amboss Surgery questions the 2.5 weeks before my test and got through 70% of that bank. (i had amboss left over from step 1 otherwise i would not have bought two qbanks). Those questions I did less seriously I would do 50 per day and just speed through them to see what I knew and different ways questions were asked from UWorld.

 

I wanted access to AMBOSS 200 but didn?t want to pay for the account ($150 for the month is that as too much). The free trial limits you to 50 questions per month.

 

I did about 25% of Amboss for step 3..I actually liked using amboss compared to uworld because it?s easier to deep dive into topics and the UI is neat. To be transparent I also took the UWSA2 from a friend before taking the exam and it estimated a passing score 227 so I took the exam. I scored 240s for Step 2.. Make note of the bio stats though.

 

AMBOSS has been out for a couple of years at this point. I would like to know how people who relied on it faired on *shelf exams! I credit using AMBOSS all throughout MS1 and MS2 for giving me a strong knowledge base in preparation for NBME-based block exams and ultimately Step 1. Didn?t use...

Can multiple people use amboss? me and my friends want to share an Amboss account does amboss have feature that help that? or we need to share the same account as one user?
