Limit Office 365 access to work provided devices We are a small not-for-profit organisation with a Microsoft 365 Business Basic subscription. Our users currently use Windows 10 Professional devices joined to an on-premises Windows Server 2016 domain running Microsoft 365 for email and Office 2013 for office apps.

 

The token is acquired during an interactive login so MFA is supported and then you can use that token to send email via the Office 365 REST API (and to a lesser extent Microsoft Graph). We have solutions that do this in exactly this scenario and work fine with MFA secured accounts.

 

Impacts of changing default domain in Office 365 tenancy? A client of mine has decided to change their company name and default email domain an I have a few questions about what this impacts. Can I simply add the new domain to my current Office365 tenancy or do I have to stand up a whole new Office 365 tenant specifically for the new domain?

 

If we need to login to the actual shared mailbox we assigned them a license. This could be necessary if you also have some 3rd party application that actually need to login to the mailbox and fetch e-mail for some reason. I have recently realized that you CAN actually set a password to a Shared Mailbox.

Enter Code During Login: Once configured whenever you log in to Office 365 and MFA is triggered you'll need to provide the time-based one-time code generated by the Google Authenticator app.
