Sometimes the latest is not the greatest. Uninstall the drivers ( or at least the Nvidia Experience from the Programs & Features menu ) if you have to reinstall the drivers just make sure to select what you need. What I do is painstakenly browse for drivers via the Web Browser and run the installer.

 

Hey guys just wondering where am I supposed to install my Nvidia drivers? Directly in my C drive C:/Nvidia or in program files (x86)? Thanks

The numbers can change often and inconsistently each driver release because Nvidia run test drivers in the background. The difference between 436.02 and 436.15 are shown in the release notes.

 

Whenever download an update to the NVidia drivers the package always prompts for an extract location... by default its' C:\NVIDIA. Just wondering if once the update has been completed is it safe to delete this folder and its contents?
