I used sDNA Prepare to repair the road network in ArcGIS10.2 but the error was always reported. Could you tell me the reason?

 

Does sDNA have an upper limit of Geodesics it can calculate and store or is the problem likely elsewhere? I am running sDNA on a MacPro M1 and Windows 11 Parallels. skipzeroweightorigins and skipzeroweightdestinations is set.

 

I am conducting angular segment analysis (ASA) using sDNA in ArcGIS Pro and I am preparing a road centre line (RCL) network. In space syntax literature there are recommended RCL modelling rules for

 

SDNA always fails when I run prepare network or integral analysis with a bit larger network system. I have to keep the model very small to complete process successfully. How could I solve this?

If your data is a feature class in a gdb it will have a tolerance setting which can be found by right-clicking the class in the catalog and choosing properties. sDNA will respect the tolerance settings of gdb feature classes. Other formats such as shapefiles do not contain tolerance information.

If you run sDNA prepare again and ask it to detect (not repair) endpoint near misses on your input data - does it find any? Is the data projected to a coordinate system that uses metres as the spatial unit - your config shows a tolerance of 0.001 which would make sense if so though if you were using degrees you would likely trigger this warning as many links will be smaller than 0.001°.
