In this video I demonstrate how to revert changes made to the configuration using the rollback function on my Juniper vSRX.

 

Each time we perform a commit action the rollback files increment by one with the oldest file being lost. If you make enough commits during a change it is possible that you won?t have a copy of the config as it was before you started your change.

 

Not without commits unfortunately. You can go faster by rolling back and committing immediately though: This way you?re not waiting on the commit confirmed timer to execute the rollback. That?s the quickest way possible via CLI.

 

The software saves the last 50 committed configurations including the rollback number date time and name of the user who issued the commit configuration command.

From the left menu of the Juniper Mist? portal select Organization > Admin > Site Configuration. Scroll down to the Access Point Settings section and select Automatically Revert Configuration
