When reaching biomes at higher levels the Pokémon that spawn may be evolutions of the biome's possible spawns. Likewise when reaching biomes during the beginning levels the Pokémon that spawn may be pre-evolutions.

Not all the evolutions in this game are one-to-one with the mainline games. Detailed below are special evolution methods used in PokéRogue in addition to all the methods left unchanged excluding unchanged level-up evolutions. If an evolution mentions it must be a certain time of day that is in relation to the current area of the game you are in weather and actual time of day do not effect it.

 

Currently there are 5 game modes in PokéRogue: Classic Daily Run Endless Spliced Endless and Challenge. The last 3 are unlockables.
