Find vectors a and d. Here is what I have so far. a was easy to find as it is literally just the vector representation of point P from the origin. a = 2 i -3 j +1 k. What I think I need to do in order to find a normal vector n of the plane (which I'm not sure how I would do and I think that's what's really keeping me from progressing).

If n n $\mathbf{n}$ is the normal vector to the given plane and p p $\mathbf{p}$ is the point through which the line is supposed to pass then the equation of the line will be of the form r =p + tn r = p + t n $\mathbf{r}=\mathbf{p}+t\mathbf{n}$. You already have both those vectors so you don't need anything else.
