I set my autoclicker to 20 cps which is working fine (even if there is lag all clicks are registered). Since I am using clicks per second (cps) I cannot tell you the correct ms amount.

 

There is a bit of a trick one can use to click really fast where if you enable keyboard mouse controls and hold down 5 and I think the / key in the number pad in a full size keyboard at the same time that makes the mouse click repeatedly very fast. I measured it on a website and it was exactly 30 clicks per second. So either that's how fast the keyboard processes the clicks or it's how ...

Talking about normal legit clicking how much is considered fast? i can get to 14 clicks per second which makes 24 with clickstorm added. but i feel like i could do better. what does the CH community consider to be fast?

 

Why does autoclicker cap at 100cps in game? So i have made mouse macro with logitech gaming software that clicks 250cps verified with this. However in cookie clicker the "average cookie clicks per second" shows maximum of 100 when i use it. Is there a limit in the game or where cause i've seen people always talking about 250cps? If you want to do 19 clicks per seconds you'll have to wait 52.63 milliseconds between them: 19 x 52.63 = 999.97 milliseconds (almost 1 second). Mind internal delay for most auto-clicker programs though so set it to a lower interval (below 52 ms) or higher frequency (above 19 cps).

 

My guess is that it checks if it registers 1000 clicks per second here with the 1000/(e?e.detail:1) check and if matched limits clicks to 3 otherwise to 50 - so essentially an auto clicker doing 1000 clicks is heavily penalized and anything else can't exceed 50 anyway.

 

EDIT: Found this The clickCookie function Which confirms that 250 is the intended clicks per second cap. My only guess at this point is that Javascript registers click events without distinguishing between multiple mice. Meaining a "click event" is just defined as the transition from a pressed mouse button to a released mouse button.
